Student ID Number PIN Check with the Registration Office
 
Student ID Number First eight letters of last name, all lower case with no hyphens, apostrophes or spaces. If the last name is shorter than eight letters, repeat the letters until you reach eight.*

*NOTE: If your password was set before Winter Quarter 2017, your initial password will be the first six letters of your last name. If you have changed your password since the start of Winter Quarter 2017, you will be required to have an eight-character password. 
Use the "Forgot Password?" link on the login page for Canvas.
If this doesn't work, contact the eLearning Office or visit the STARS help desk in the Library.
District Email and Office 365 You will need to initialize your account on the EAD Tools site for the District. You will need your SID and PIN to initialize your account. Access the EAD Tools page, select Initialize, and follow the instructions.

Format is generally 
first.last @seattlecolleges.edu
Your password is set by you during the initialization process.  Access the password reset tool on the EAD Tools site. You will need your SID and PIN to reset your password.

You can change your password, by accessing Manage Account Settings on the EAD Tools site.
 
Username = 1st initial of first name + whole last name + last 3 digits of SID + @southseattle.edu

Example 1:
Jane Doe, SID 123456789 = jdoe789@southseattle.edu
Example 2:
Jane Doe-Reilly, SID 123456789 = jdoereilly789@southseattle.edu
Example 3:
Jane O'Reilly, SID 123456789 = joreilly789@southseattle.edu
Initial Password = 1st initial + whole last name + last 3 digits of SID + temp
Users are required to change this on their first login.
Example = jdoe789temp
